O White Night Winter Concert fuses the classical with the contemporary for Vancouver audiences

Pianist Oriana White is returning to give a one-night-only performance at The Sanctuary (1805 Larch Street) this Wednesday, December 3rd at 6 pm. Don’t expect any old traditional winter concert- O White Night Winter Concert is bringing together classical and contemporary music, musicians and dancers, as well as food and wine in what is sure to be a memorable evening. “In addition to providing an evening of great entertainment, hosting ‘O White Night!’ is also about giving inspiration and encouragement to those who may wish to perform an art they love someday,” says Oriana. “As a predominantly solo pianist, collaborating with talented musicians and dancers is an incredibly humbling and beautiful experience and my dream is to share this with everyone.” Special guests for the evening include Flamenco dancers Marylou Vallejo and Sydney Cochrane, Mario De La Sota (cajon & voice), Michael Antonakos (tenor), Sunshine Moradi (Persian Setar), Ivan Tucakov (Spanish Guitar), and Nina Djokic (piano).
